Avengers 5: Leaked Doctor Doom Suit Features Macabre Detail
In a promotional image for Avengers: Doomsday, we see Doctor Doom's suit, which apparently carries a gruesome reference to 2 heroes.
A new, high-definition look at the Doctor Doom suit for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday has begun circulating online, and it appears to feature a macabre and very important new detail.
The leaked image of the suit, which will reportedly be worn by Robert Downey Jr., shows the villain’s cape held in place by two large clasps on his shoulders. Upon closer inspection, fans have identified that these clasps are not just random designs.

The clasps appear to be fashioned from the symbols of two of the MCU’s most powerful heroes. One clasp clearly resembles the Hala Star emblem worn by Captain Marvel, while the other is a clear reference to Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir.
This “macabre” detail suggests that the Doctor Doom (likely a variant) arriving in Avengers: Doomsday is already a seasoned conqueror. The clasps are likely trophies, worn to signify that he has already defeated the Thor and Captain Marvel of his own universe.
This aligns with previous rumors that the film will need to establish Doom as a threat far greater than Thanos. By showing him wearing symbols of the Avengers he has already destroyed, the film can immediately demonstrate his power and ruthlessness.
