Avengers: Doomsday is set to break the record for the most heroes in a Marvel movie, but will the Scarlet Witch be among them?
It is true that the character portrayed by Elizabeth Olsen has been missing from the MCU since Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which hit theaters in 2022.
By the end of the film, Marvel implied that Wanda Maximoff had died. However, fans never bought into that fate and are still awaiting her return.
In the series Agatha All Along, Marvel has already hinted that Wanda is still out there somewhere. Now, her true fate is about to be revealed.

Journalist Alex Perez has just stated that Avengers: Doomsday will finally reveal the character’s true fate. It is worth noting that the movie is set to hit theaters in December.
The source did not go into further detail, simply implying, of course, that Wanda is not dead. However, it is worth recalling that previous rumors suggested the character would fight alongside the villain Doctor Doom, and that the two might even have a romance.
We do not know if that will actually happen, but in addition to Avengers 5, the Scarlet Witch is also expected to appear in Avengers: Secret Wars, which is scheduled for release in December 2027. This means Marvel has two movies to give the character a redemption arc.
