Avengers: Doomsday is the next installment in Marvel’s biggest franchise, currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 18 of this year.
Even though the movie doesn’t arrive until the end of the year, it is undoubtedly the most anticipated production of 2026, generating immense hype among both Marvel fans and the general public.
Much of this anticipation revolves around the return of Robert Downey Jr. After cementing his legacy as the hero Iron Man, this time the actor will bring the villain Doctor Doom to life.
We don’t know exactly how this will work, only that it is happening thanks to the multiverse, an element Marvel has been exploring more and more.
Mister Fantastic will be humiliated in Avengers: Doomsday!
Doctor Doom’s great comic book nemesis is Mister Fantastic, the hero played by Pedro Pascal in the MCU, who will also play a prominent role in the film.
According to insider Daniel Richtman, however, the hero will be humiliated by the villain in different ways. First, the initial humiliation will involve a betrayal.
According to the source, the leader of the Fantastic Four will start the movie trusting Doctor Doom, believing he has good intentions and wants to fight alongside the heroes to save the multiverse. In the end, as we know, the villain’s intentions will be completely different.
Finally, in Avengers: Doomsday, we will also see Mister Fantastic being humiliated in combat. Apparently, there will be a major fight between the two characters, and the villain will come out on top.
