Avengers: Doomsday — Four Leads Revealed
Avengers: Doomsday will feature four lead characters and four major supporting roles.

With every new Avengers movie, more heroes join Marvel’s superteam and more characters are introduced into the franchise’s expanding storylines.
And as expected, the list of main cast members confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday has already broken records. So far, the official number stands at 27 names.
But we know that the real number is likely much higher. For example, Tobey Maguire (Spider-Man), Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), and Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) are expected to appear in Avengers 5, but Marvel has not confirmed them yet.
Even with such a massive ensemble, a new report claims that only four actors will serve as the true leads of Doomsday.
The four leads of Avengers 5
According to X (formerly Twitter) insider @Majestic_ucm, via Filmify, the four central characters in Avengers: Doomsday are Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom, Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Steve Rogers, and Thor.
That means the film’s main leads would be Robert Downey Jr., Pedro Pascal, Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth. Pretty much what fans would expect, right?
The insider also reported that Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Sam Wilson/Captain America (Anthony Mackie), and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) will all have significant roles.
The biggest surprise in this new rumor is probably the absence of Loki (Tom Hiddleston). Since the antihero became the guardian of the multiverse at the end of his Disney+ series, many expected him to play a major role in Doomsday.
Could his role be larger in Avengers: Secret Wars instead? We’ll have to wait and see.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theaters on December 18.
