Avengers: Doomsday — Official Poster Reveals All 28 Characters

The first promotional poster for Avengers: Doomsday was released on Friday, the 30th. The artwork was displayed and sold during the Pinewood Studios Future Festival in the United Kingdom.

The striking illustration features an impressive lineup of 28 characters from Avengers 5. You can check it out in high resolution below.

Who are the 28 characters on the poster?

Because the image is presented in an illustrated style, many fans were unsure about the identity of some of the 28 characters shown.

That’s why we at Legado da Marvel have put together a complete list of all the heroes and villains appearing on the new Doomsday promotional poster. Check out the names below.

At the top, from left to right: Hank McCoy / Beast (Kelsey Grammer); M’Baku (Winston Duke); Kurt Wagner / Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming); John Walker / U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell); Ben Grimm / The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach); Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian (David Harbour); and Gambit (Channing Tatum).

More toward the center, from left to right: Joaquín Torres / Falcon (Danny Ramirez); Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan); Scott Summers / Cyclops (James Marsden); Mystique (Rebecca Romijn); Scott Lang / Ant-Man (Paul Rudd); and Namor (Tenoch Huerta).

The poster does not show every major character

While the poster already includes a massive number of characters, it does not feature every hero and villain set to appear in Avengers 5. Strong rumors suggest the film will also include Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, and several other classic characters from the Marvel Multiverse.

However, these surprise appearances are expected to be kept out of Doomsday’s marketing until after the film’s release. Still, there’s always a chance that images of these secret characters could leak earlier.

Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to hit theaters on December 17.
