An image believed to be from the first trailer for Avengers Doomsday has leaked online and quickly caught the attention of Marvel fans. The material began circulating over the past few hours on social media and specialized forums, showing Chris Evans once again as Steve Rogers.

The alleged leak comes just ahead of the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash, the film that will officially debut the first trailer for the new Avengers in theaters.

According to reports that surfaced shortly after the image appeared, several insiders have confirmed that the material is part of the film’s real trailer. Among the names mentioned is DanielRPK, who is well known for accurately sharing early studio information.

In the image, Steve Rogers appears with the same look seen at the end of Avengers: Endgame. The character looks older and is holding a baby in his arms, raising the possibility that the child could be his son with Peggy Carter.

That detail didn’t come out of nowhere.

The scene matches a trailer description that had previously been published by the site, strengthening the idea that the leak is legitimate.

Chris Evans’ presence stands out not only because of the actor’s return, but also because of the specific point in the timeline in which the character is shown. By opting for a more intimate scene, the trailer seems to suggest that Steve Rogers’ past will play a direct role in the story of the new film.

What We Know So Far About Avengers: Doomsday

Avengers: Doomsday is the next chapter featuring Earth’s Mightiest Heroes following the events of Avengers: Endgame. The project was originally announced in 2022 during San Diego Comic-Con under the title Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. However, after the negative reception to the villain in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and the actor’s departure from the studio, Marvel chose to rework the film.

The project’s new phase was revealed at Comic-Con 2024, when the studio announced the return of Robert Downey Jr., this time portraying Doctor Doom.

The title change to Avengers: Doomsday solidified this new creative direction and repositioned the film as one of the studio’s most ambitious releases.

Anthony Russo and Joe Russo return to direct, once again teaming up after Infinity War and Endgame. The script is being written by Stephen McFeely, who also returns after working on the team’s previous films.

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2026.

Legado da Marvel continues to closely follow all developments across social media and promises to publish the full trailer as soon as it is officially released.
