‘Avengers: Endgame’: Marvel Surprised by Revealing Who the Player NoobMaster69 Is
Marvel has already revealed the identity of the player Noobmaster69 in Avengers: Endgame, which ended up surprising fans.
Among the surprises and heartfelt farewells that moved audiences worldwide in Avengers: Endgame, one running joke became a major source of fan curiosity. The question lingered: Who exactly was the mysterious online gamer NoobMaster69?
This is the player who famously defeats Korg in Fortnite, sending a depressed Thor into a fit of hilarious rage in one of the film’s funniest scenes. For a long time, fans loved to speculate that this player might actually be Deadpool, leading to a much-anticipated reveal when the Merc with a Mouth finally joins the MCU.
The True Identity of NoobMaster96 Was Revealed
The actual reveal, however, was quite different. Marvel surprised fans by unveiling the true identity of NoobMaster69 during the promotional run for the Falcon and the Winter Soldier series, released in 2021.
The reveal confirms that NoobMaster69 is Aaron, a seemingly ordinary retail employee who was actually seen much earlier in the MCU.
Aaron made his debut in 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, where he worked at an Apple store kiosk and, unknowingly, helped Steve Rogers and Black Widow secure some necessary tech.
The connection was established through a series of internal promotional videos, tying the anonymous online troll back to a minor character who was an ordinary citizen living within the events of the MCU.
