Blade And Moon Knight Rumored To Headline Marvel’s Midnight Sons Film

A new rumor suggests Mahershala Ali's Blade and Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight will be the main characters in a potential Midnight Sons movie, a supernatural team-up in the MCU.

A new rumor points to Mahershala Ali’s Blade and Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight as key players in a possible Midnight Sons film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The project, centered on a team of supernatural heroes, has yet to be officially confirmed by Marvel Studios.

On The Hot Mic podcast with John Rocha, insider Jeff Sneider shared the scoop: “I have heard Midnight Sons rumors. I have heard that it would be Mahershala and Oscar…” No further details were given about the characters’ involvement or the film’s storyline.

A darker corner of the MCU could soon emerge

The Midnight Sons first appeared in Marvel Comics in the 1990s, tasked with protecting the world from mystical and demonic forces. Current speculation points to a possible adaptation of the Damnation arc, with Sacha Baron Cohen rumored to play Mephisto as the main villain.

Other characters could also join the lineup. Ghost Rider is said to be under consideration as team leader, while Elsa Bloodstone and Man-Thing have been mentioned as potential additions.

No timeline for development or release is known. Blade’s presence would be notable, given the production delays on his solo film.

As for Moon Knight, a role in the film would mark his first return since the 2022 series, which ended with the reveal of a third personality still tied to Khonshu—a storyline left unresolved.
