Blade Marvel Makes Final Decision on Mahershala Ali's Film

Marvel Studios has reportedly planned to release Blade as part of the next MCU saga, according to a new report from The Cosmic Circus. This marks a major strategic shift for the long-delayed project starring Mahershala Ali.

With this change, the film’s premiere is now expected to be in 2028 or later. This release window is set after the premiere of Avengers: Secret Wars, which is scheduled to conclude the Multiverse Saga in December 2027.

A New Beginning for the MCU

The film is now positioned to help launch the new saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in cinemas, rather than being slotted into the current multiversal storyline.

This move gives the production team more time to finalize the project after numerous development hurdles and allows the character to make a fresh start, kicking off a new era for Marvel.
