Elizabeth Olsen wants to return as Scarlet Witch in the MCU
In an interview, Elizabeth Olsen revealed her desire to return as the Scarlet Witch in a future MCU project.

The door may have closed on Wanda Maximoff, but the actress behind the Scarlet Witch is clearly ready to walk right back through it.
Elizabeth Olsen recently expressed her strong desire to return as the powerful hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, stating that playing Wanda is “something that I love, and it’s something I always want to return to.”
This statement offers significant hope to fans, many of whom were left heartbroken by her ambiguous ending in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
A Return for the Fans
Olsen’s comments went beyond just her personal enthusiasm, offering a direct nod to the dedicated fanbase. The actor noted that the massive superhero movies are ultimately made for the audience, saying: “These movies aren’t for critics, these movies are for fans.”
The question of how she could return remains open. Given the nature of the Multiverse and the fact that Wanda’s body was only briefly shown being crushed by rubble, many theories suggest she survived, or that a variant could be introduced.
With Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars looming, the presence of a character as powerful as the Scarlet Witch seems almost inevitable.
If the Scarlet Witch does return, which direction do you think would be more interesting for her character: a redemption arc in the main universe, or the introduction of a new, potentially villainous variant?
