‘Go F@%k Yourselves’: Marvel Actor Gets Angry When Asked About The Series
Clark Gregg, who played Phil Coulson in Marvel, got angry when asked about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. — check it out.

The debate over whether Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is officially part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe canon has raged for years. Actor Clark Gregg, who starred as Agent Phil Coulson, was recently asked about the topic by a journalist and did not hold back his frustration.
During an interview at New York Comic Con, Gregg was questioned about the series‘ canonical status. He offered a sharp, expletive-laden response to those who obsess over the debate.
“Some people talk about canon… Go f@%k yourselves,” Gregg stated bluntly.
Pride in the Work
The actor immediately followed his aggressive remark by shifting the focus away from studio politics and onto the work itself. Gregg emphasized the pride the cast and crew have in the series, regardless of its official categorization by Marvel Studios.
“We are proud of what we did,” Gregg continued. “We are very, very proud of the connection that we have with people like you who come to visit us and spend time with us.”
Gregg’s comments reflect the frustration many involved with the (formerly) Marvel Television productions feel. While the series began as a direct tie-in to the MCU, its connections faded over time, leaving its status ambiguous.
