Loki’s Disappointing Role Leaks in Avengers: Doomsday

Loki is one of the main characters confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday. It is no surprise that, even before his confirmation, fans were always certain he would be part of this storyline.

After all, by sacrificing himself to protect the Multiverse, the “God of Stories” became a fundamental piece in everything that is currently happening in this MCU saga.

Fortunately, Marvel did not keep much mystery around it, and Tom Hiddleston was one of the first names confirmed during the Chairs Live stream. Months later, near the end of last year, rumors emerged that we would get a Loki-focused teaser. That did not happen, but it only made everyone even more curious to see him in the film.

However, here is some potentially bad news for fans of the character.

Loki will be the big disappointment of Doomsday.

According to insider Majestic_ucm, Loki will be important in Doomsday… but will have limited screen time compared to the main characters.

To make matters worse, the insider claims that Loki’s role will be more of a “glorious cameo.” Tom Hiddleston reportedly filmed for only three days, and the highlight of these scenes would be an interaction with Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers. Nothing beyond that.

However, his short presence in Doomsday will be made up for later, as they are reportedly setting him up to be one of the PROTAGONISTS in Avengers: Secret Wars.

How will all of this fit together? Will we really see Victor Von Doom against Loki in the end? Or will things be very different from everything we are imagining?
