Marvel Studios has officially unveiled the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday. The video had been shown only in theaters and is now available online in high quality.

Before this release, the footage was part of a promotion tied to screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash. The plan includes four different trailers. Each week of James Cameron’s film features a different version of the Avengers promotional material.

Audiences who went to theaters last week saw the first of these videos. That exclusive run led to low quality recordings spreading across social media. With the official release, Marvel resolves the image quality issue and brings the online rollout in line with what is already playing in theaters.

The return of Steve Rogers

This first trailer centers on Steve Rogers. The footage confirms Chris Evans returning to the role, six years after the events shown in Avengers: Endgame. Opening the campaign with the character strengthens the connection to earlier phases of the Marvel universe.

The official release confirms what theater leaks had already suggested. Even with the focus on Rogers at this stage, three more trailers are still set to appear over the coming weeks alongside Avatar: Fire and Ash.

Releasing this footage signals the start of the broader promotional push for Avengers: Doomsday. Viewers can now watch the scenes clearly and follow, step by step, how the studio plans to present the film ahead of its release.
