She-Hulk Marvel chooses to forget the character and pretend she never appeared in the MCU

She-Hulk is facing unusual treatment from Marvel Studios – understand why the character has disappeared.

She-Hulk Marvel chooses to forget the character and pretend she never appeared in the MCU

In 2019, during the massive D23 Expo, Marvel Studios announced She-Hulk as one of its most exciting upcoming projects for the Multiverse Saga.

After that reveal, fans waited three years before the series finally premiered on Disney+. In August 2022, the show starring Tatiana Maslany made its debut — but it didn’t take long for disappointment to hit.

Even before the release, the internet filled with criticism and memes mocking the show’s poor CGI. When She-Hulk: Attorney at Law finally arrived, most viewers felt let down by the execution.

Marvel completely ignores She-Hulk

The series did manage to pull solid viewership numbers, especially compared to later Disney+ shows, but that wasn’t enough. Since 2022, Marvel has quietly erased any mention of She-Hulk from the MCU.

She hasn’t made any cameos, received any references, or even appeared in background Easter eggs. It’s as if the studio decided to remove her entirely from continuity — and for now, there’s no sign of change.

Earlier this year, Marvel hosted a livestream to announce the full lineup for Avengers: Doomsday, but, unsurprisingly, She-Hulk was missing. On top of that, a second season of the series has already been scrapped.

Even the Eternals are getting more attention than She-Hulk

At one point, fans believed The Eternals would be the franchise’s most ignored team. However, those characters have already shown up in animated series like What If…? and Marvel Zombies.

Meanwhile, She-Hulk remains completely absent — even from projects where she could easily fit in. She’d make perfect sense in alternate-universe stories or team-ups featured in Marvel’s animated titles, yet Marvel continues to overlook her.

Could Tatiana Maslany’s comments be a factor?

Tatiana Maslany has publicly criticized Disney on more than one occasion. First, she spoke out against CEO Bob Iger during the writers’ and actors’ strikes. More recently, she urged fans to boycott Disney after the company temporarily removed Jimmy Kimmel from his show.

Although Kimmel has since returned, Disney might still be holding a grudge.

For now, She-Hulk’s future in the MCU looks nonexistent. The character has been completely sidelined, receiving no attention, no appearances, and no plans for a comeback — an unprecedented move for the Marvel universe.
