Spider-Man: Brand New Day: See the First Images of the Battle Against Scorpion

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will feature many characters, including the highly anticipated return of the villain Scorpion, played by actor Michael Mando.

Yes, nine years after Spider-Man: Homecoming, the villain is finally back to take his long-awaited revenge on the hero.

Other villains, like Tombstone and Boomerang, are also expected to appear in the film. However, Scorpion is one of the characters likely to receive the most spotlight.

Spider-Man: Brad New Day Gets Photos Featuring the Scorpion!

Filming for the movie began in August, but the first behind-the-scenes photos showing Michael Mando returning to the role have just leaked.

Unfortunately, in the images, the villain hasn’t appeared wearing his classic costume yet. Still, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is also present in the scene, indicating this is one of the confrontations between the two characters in the movie.

The photos, via AllonFilm, show the scene being filmed in a prison setting. The villain can even be seen wearing handcuffs — possibly hinting at his escape from jail.

What Role Will Scorpion Play in the Movie?

It’s still unclear whether Scorpion will be the main villain of Spider-Man 4. Either way, he is expected to give the hero a serious challenge.

In the leaked images, he is wearing the same prison uniform seen in the 2017 movie. However, after his escape, the villain is likely to don his classic, threatening costume.

Additionally, as previously mentioned, the hero will face other villains and even some heroes, including The Punisher and Hulk, who will return in his savage version.
