Update on the Official Trailer Release for Spider Man: Brand New Day

Leak reveals older clips from the Spider Man 4 trailer. Insider says a final version already exists and could be released sooner than expected.

The spread of unofficial material from the fourth Spider Man movie has increased over the past few days. Three different clips from a promotional video began circulating online shortly after leaks related to Avengers: Doomsday surfaced. The footage is low quality and features abrupt cuts.

The most recent clip appeared yesterday.

According to insider Lakersspammer, the leaked material does not reflect the current state of the project. He says the trailer comes from a version of Spider Man: Brand New Day that was edited several months ago. This suggests the studio has moved forward in post production since then.

The insider addressed the situation with the following statement:

“I heard that the Brand New Day trailer is months old. Meaning a finished version probably exists. And it is closer to being released than we thought.”

Technical details support this interpretation. In one of the leaks, a date from October 2025 can be seen on the computer screen where the video is playing. This points to Sony Pictures having worked on this specific preview for at least two months.

From there, the likelihood increases that a cut ready for public release already exists.

So when will the official trailer actually be released?

As a result, speculation has grown around when the official trailer will be released. Some fans believe it could be attached to screenings of Anaconda, which hits theaters next week.

Others point to January or February as more likely windows for the start of the marketing push. So far, the studio has not confirmed any of these possibilities.

The film is set to arrive in theaters on July 30, 2026, continuing the partnership between Sony and Disney. While the trailer has yet to be released, the leaks suggest the first official look may be much closer than previously expected.
