However, plans changed drastically for the second solo movie in the franchise due to the actor\u2019s passing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, Chadwick died after a four-year battle with colon cancer. Soon after, Marvel chose to honor his legacy in <a href=\"https:\/\/legadodamarvel.com.br\/en\/tag\/black-panther-wakanda-forever\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"234\">Black Panther: Wakanda Forever<\/a>, released in 2022.<\/p><div class=\"banner banner--content\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9014371380271401\"     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><!-- Marvel (Na Mat\u00e9ria) | HTML --><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"     style=\"display:inline-block;width:300px;height:250px\"     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9014371380271401\"     data-ad-slot=\"4293518781\"><\/ins><script>     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});<\/script><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, six years after Chadwick\u2019s death, Marvel and director <a href=\"https:\/\/legadodamarvel.com.br\/en\/tag\/ryan-coogler\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"98\">Ryan Coogler<\/a> are reportedly determined to move forward and cast a new actor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Black Panther fans are furious over the new casting option!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, two possibilities leaked for the future of Black Panther. The first is that we would see the hero\u2019s son, who is also named T\u2019Challa, grow up and eventually take on his father\u2019s mantle. He was introduced in the post-credits scene of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is also a second option being discussed: Marvel could introduce a new variant of the hero and focus on that version going forward. The studio is exploring the multiverse more than ever, so anything is on the table.<\/p><div class=\"banner banner--content\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9014371380271401\"     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><!-- Marvel (Na Mat\u00e9ria) | HTML --><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"     style=\"display:inline-block;width:300px;height:250px\"     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9014371380271401\"     data-ad-slot=\"4293518781\"><\/ins><script>     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});<\/script><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Regardless of the direction the studio chooses, new actors are already being considered for the role. And the latest name revealed by journalist Daniel Richtman did not sit well with fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the report, actor Aaron Pierre had conversations with Marvel about the role. However, the idea was poorly received by fans.
