According to Perez, most of these antagonists will be lesser-known to the general audience \u2014 <strong>\u201cniche, B- or C-level\u201d<\/strong> Spider-Man villains from the comics. <\/p><div class=\"banner banner--content\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9014371380271401\"     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><!-- Marvel (Na Mat\u00e9ria) | HTML --><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"     style=\"display:inline-block;width:300px;height:250px\"     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9014371380271401\"     data-ad-slot=\"4293518781\"><\/ins><script>     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});<\/script><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not a gathering of major names like the classic Sinister Six, but something different: a hostile New York filled with smaller threats that, together, turn Peter Parker\u2019s life into chaos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-three-villains-already-confirmed\">The three villains already confirmed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, previous reports have pointed to three characters who will appear in the film:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scorpion (Mac Gargan), played by <a href=\"https:\/\/legadodamarvel.com.br\/en\/tag\/michael-mando\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"262\">Michael Mando<\/a>, who previously made a brief appearance in <a href=\"https:\/\/legadodamarvel.com.br\/en\/tag\/spider-man-homecoming\/\">Spider-Man: Homecoming<\/a>. In the comics, Gargan wears a cybernetic suit that gives him superhuman strength, agility, and durability. He is a crime boss with nearly indestructible skin, enhanced strength, and extreme tolerance for pain. He functions less as a hired thug and more as an underworld strategist \u2014 the kind of villain who moves pieces from behind the scenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>William Metzger, played by Tramell Tillman. Unlike the other two, Metzger has no superpowers. He leads an anti-mutant militia, using extremist rhetoric and armed organization to hunt mutants. Rumors suggest his main target will be <a href=\"https:\/\/legadodamarvel.com.br\/en\/tag\/jean-grey\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"53\">Jean Grey<\/a>, portrayed by <a href=\"https:\/\/legadodamarvel.com.br\/en\/tag\/sadie-sink\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"78\">Sadie Sink<\/a> \u2014 placing the film at a direct intersection between the <strong>Spider-Man<\/strong> corner of the MCU and the <a href=\"https:\/\/legadodamarvel.com.br\/en\/tag\/x-men\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"62\">X-Men<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-so-many-villains-at-once\">Why so many villains at once?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision to focus on lesser-known villains is not random. No Way Home worked because its five antagonists were already familiar to audiences \u2014 each carried the emotional weight of previous films. Scorpion represents physical danger. Tombstone embodies organized crime. Metzger introduces a political and ideological dimension. The remaining villains, still unrevealed, are expected to fill out other layers of this web of problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This structure echoes classic comic book arcs in which Spider-Man has to deal with multiple crises at the same time \u2014 something the films have not truly explored yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hulk-and-the-punisher-also-enter-the-equation\">Hulk and the Punisher also enter the equation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the nine villains, <a href=\"https:\/\/legadodamarvel.com.br\/en\/tag\/tom-holland\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"71\">Tom Holland<\/a>\u2019s Spider-Man will face a savage version of the Hulk (<a href=\"https:\/\/legadodamarvel.com.br\/en\/tag\/mark-ruffalo\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"59\">Mark Ruffalo<\/a>) and the antihero Punisher (Jon Bernthal).<\/p><div class=\"banner banner--content\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9014371380271401\"     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><!-- Marvel (Na Mat\u00e9ria) | HTML --><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"     style=\"display:inline-block;width:300px;height:250px\"     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9014371380271401\"     data-ad-slot=\"4293518781\"><\/ins><script>     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});<\/script><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Neither is technically a villain in the traditional sense, but both represent conflicts that go beyond simple fights: an out-of-control Hulk is a force of nature, and the Punisher operates in a moral gray zone that directly clashes with Spider-Man\u2019s principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All told, that makes eleven superpowered \u2014 or dangerously armed \u2014 characters standing in Peter Parker\u2019s way. The creative challenge for director Destin Daniel Cretton will be balancing this large cast without turning the film into a shallow sequence of nonstop battles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-we-still-don-t-know\">What we still don\u2019t know<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Six of the nine villains remain under wraps. Spider-Man\u2019s rogues\u2019 gallery in the comics is vast, ranging from names like Shocker, Chameleon, and Vulture to more obscure options such as Hammerhead, Mister Negative, The Spot, or the Jackal. Any combination is possible, and the final choices will say a lot about the kind of story the film aims to tell.<\/p><div class=\"banner banner--content\"><script async
