Hold on to your hats, Marvel fans, because the rumor mill is spinning like crazy! Remember when the entire creative team behind <a href=\"http:\/\/legadodamarvel.com.br\/en\/daredevil-born-again\">Daredevil: Born Again<\/a> was swapped out mid-filming? Well, the plot thickens, and it seems that massive creative shuffle took a HUGE toll on some planned cameos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Punisher and Echo got axed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We all know the deal: Marvel completely retooled <em>Born Again<\/em>. The original idea was kind of a soft reboot for <strong>Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox)<\/strong> and <strong>Kingpin (Vincent D&#8217;Onofrio)<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But honestly, the fans spoke loud and clear\u2014we wanted the gritty, dark vibe of the Netflix show back! So, Marvel listened and decided to make it a direct continuation, bringing back more beloved characters.<\/p><div class=\"banner banner--content\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9014371380271401\"     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><!-- Marvel (Na Mat\u00e9ria) | HTML --><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"     style=\"display:inline-block;width:300px;height:250px\"     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9014371380271401\"     data-ad-slot=\"4293518781\"><\/ins><script>     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});<\/script><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This whole process meant a new pilot, a new finale, and a serious cleanup of what had already been shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What would happen in this episode?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s the kicker, folks: before the big creative overhaul, Marvel had planned a special, single episode focused entirely on <strong>The Punisher (Jon Bernthal)<\/strong> and <strong>Echo (Alaqua Cox)<\/strong> meeting! Can you imagine the sheer intensity of that crossover? A proper &#8220;bottle episode&#8221; featuring those two? Pure gold, I tell you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, as they focused the story back onto the core Netflix crew\u2014which is fantastic, don&#8217;t get me wrong\u2014it seems the newer characters got pushed to the back burner. And sadly, that epic meeting between Frank Castle and Maya Lopez got the boot.<\/p><div class=\"banner banner--content\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9014371380271401\"     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><!-- Marvel (Na Mat\u00e9ria) | HTML --><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"     style=\"display:inline-block;width:300px;height:250px\"     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9014371380271401\"     data-ad-slot=\"4293518781\"><\/ins><script>     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});<\/script><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Daredevil: Born Again writer Jesse Wigutow told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/daredevil-born-again-originally-planned-a-punisher-and-echo-episode-where-the-two-spend-an-interesting-night-together\">IGN<\/a> what would happen in this episode:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>&#8220;They were looking to do a kind of singular bottle episode around the Punisher crossing into the Daredevil space. This was two, three years ago, and one thing led to another, and I came in to largely focus on that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It involved the Punisher and Echo kind of spending an interesting night together \u2014 not romantically, but narratively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Who knows, maybe it comes back again. But the story has been a little kind of crooked in terms of the development, and it was part of a former idea.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Was This the Right Call?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Look, it\u2019s a tough choice. We absolutely NEED that original Netflix vibe and the return of characters like <strong>Foggy<\/strong> and <strong>Karen<\/strong>. However, sacrificing a potential powerhouse episode like <strong>Punisher<\/strong> and <strong>Echo<\/strong> teaming up? That&#8217;s a serious bummer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It just makes you wonder what other cool stuff was left on the cutting room floor!
