Spider-Man 4: Full 2nd Official Trailer for ‘Brand New Day’ Leaks Online

The anticipation for Spider-Man: Brand New Day grows more intense every day, just as fans become increasingly eager for the release of the movie’s second official trailer.

Previously, several rumors pointed to the preview being released last week, however, the debut did not happen and ended up frustrating many internet users.

Fortunately, we now have a new date that seems to be the official one: we are talking about June 17, a date when multiple different sources have already claimed that the second preview of the movie will finally be released.

But while that doesn’t officially happen, the complete description of this second trailer has already leaked entirely online, well ahead of Sony and Marvel Studios’ schedule.

2nd Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer Leaks Online!

This time, however, the leak happened in the form of a scene-by-scene description, and throughout the week, several different snippets ended up being scattered across social media networks.

Nevertheless, the insider Beyond Reporter has now brought forward the first complete breakdown of everything that is expected to happen in the footage.

If you prefer to wait for the official version on June 17, we highly recommend that you do not read the description below, thereby avoiding spoilers that could ruin your experience two weeks from now.

The Beginning of the Brand New Day Trailer!

The trailer opens in a prison, where Spider-Man and the organization known as The Hand enter a combat stance, showcasing various acrobatic movements from the ninjas and ending with that image from the end of the first preview, where The Hand moves directly toward the hero.

The subsequent scenes are less frantic, featuring Peter watching a livestream of Ned and MJ, and shortly after, we see the young man putting on his web-shooters.

However, the devices end up flying toward the wall, revealing that he now possesses organic webs, and right after that, Peter meets Bruce Banner as the two begin an important conversation.

Peter: You found a way to suppress the mutant DNA, right?
Bruce: If you see me without this [points to an inhibitor device], run!

The next scene shows Peter swinging through the city at an absolute breakneck speed until a bird gets stuck to his chest, causing him to lose control, crash into several places, and end up crashing a wedding. Apparently, he was running away from Jean Grey (Sadie Sink) or something extremely dangerous related to her.

Speaking of Jean Grey!

The character played by actress Sadie Sink does not appear in full-body form in the new Spider-Man 4 trailer, as we only see her silhouette in the shadows, creating a visual that strongly resembles the Void/Sentry in Thunderbolts*.

Shortly after, a massive explosion occurs on an island and hits the city, causing all the people present on the street to become completely frozen, except for the Punisher and Spider-Man, which is likely a side effect of Jean’s power.

The mutant passes from mind to mind looking for Spider-Man, and in one of the following scenes, we see a helicopter, with Peter using his web to swing from it.

The trailer then slows down a bit, showing Peter in Ned’s room while he observes several pictures of Spider-Man, indicating that Ned is a huge fan of the hero, until MJ enters the room and formally introduces herself to Peter Parker.

Following that, a web explosion causes Spider-Man to be thrown to the ground, and Jean Grey, controlling another person’s mind, asks if he is okay and immediately threatens MJ.

Finally, the Hulk!

Jean apparently causes Bruce to lose control and transform once again into a savage version of the Hulk, who initiates a brutal fight against Spider-Man. The hero tries to escape by any means possible, but the Hulk pursues him and unleashes his famous clap attack, generating a shockwave that throws Spider-Man incredibly far away.

In the next scene, Spider-Man goes to MJ’s house to warn her that she is in danger, and she simply believes him and agrees to leave, showing the two swinging together through the city in a sequence that closely resembles the classic scenes between Peter and Mary Jane in Sam Raimi’s movies.

From this point on, we begin to hear the voice of Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), who starts a voiceover narration while several impactful scenes are spliced onto the screen:

“All of this can get really scary. But I want you to remember your responsibility. Never forget that, no matter how powerful you become.”

While we hear her narration, we see scenes like MJ and the Punisher interacting, as well as Spider-Man falling from a building. We return to the prison scene, with the hero facing The Hand, but now he is unmasked, covered in bruises, and looking down, visibly beaten while he observes a ninja star coming toward him in slow motion.

The ninjas use each other as leverage to reach Spider-Man, who is clinging to the prison ceiling, but Peter jumps toward them and creates a massive web tornado to bring everyone down.

Next, we see Peter standing before Aunt May’s grave, where he says he misses her and blows a goodbye kiss. The trailer ends with Spider-Man being crushed by a gigantic building that collapses on top of him, and the Hulk is apparently involved in this destruction as well.

End of the Trailer!

After the title of the movie appears, the trailer actually delivers one more scene with a more comedic tone, where Spider-Man arrives at the prison to rescue someone but ends up surrounded by several armed guards. He asks for just a second, cracks a few jokes while stretching, and asks if they are ready, cutting immediately to the hero defeating all the guards with ease.
