Spider-Man: Brand New Day, scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on July 31st, has all the makings of being one of the best blockbusters of the year.
The hero’s new movie will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the same director of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Additionally, the film will feature several special cameos. Sources even claim that the new adventure will manage to surpass Spider-Man: No Way Home.
For example, the film will feature the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), The Punisher (Jon Bernthal), and Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh). However, all signs point to the biggest appearance being actress Sadie Sink as Jean Grey.
Yes, Marvel and Sony continue to hold off on officially confirming the choice. However, leaks from recent weeks indicate that she will indeed play the mutant.
Spider-Man 4 Trailer Features a Scene with Jean Grey!
The movie’s official trailer will be released during this month of March, as revealed by insider Cryptic. However, the leaked version of the preview has been circulating on the internet since last year.
And in the leaked trailer, there is a brief scene with the character. She appears from the shadows and has a direct dialogue with Spider-Man. Check it out below:
“You are not a hero. You are a disaster, Spider-Man. You destroyed everything. Stay out of my way or it won’t just be your friends who won’t remember who Peter Parker is. You will forget too.”
Apparently, Spider-Man 4 will present an initial, more rebellious version of Jean Grey, before she meets Professor Xavier and joins the X-Men. Watch the trailer:
The mutant reboot won’t hit theaters until 2028, but before then, to the fans’ delight, we will already see some important characters being introduced.
