Spider-Man 4: Brand New Day is Tom Holland‘s next outing as the hero, and despite not having a trailer yet, it has already broken a record.
Yes, the wait for the movie’s trailer has been quite the drama. fueled by various rumors, fans have been expecting the preview to drop since December 2025.
There have been numerous speculated dates and plenty of alleged delays. Yet, here we are in February, and there is still no sign of the highly anticipated trailer.
For instance, Avengers: Doomsday, which doesn’t hit theaters until December, has already received four teasers. Meanwhile, the new Spider-Man movie is coming in July, yet we still have nothing.
Spider-Man 4 trailer sets a negative record!
This will be Tom Holland’s fourth solo film and the third to be released in July. The only exception was 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, which premiered in December.
When comparing all the films in the franchise with July releases, Spider-Man 4 has the most delayed trailer, as shown in the comparison below.
Spider-Man: Homecoming, released in July 2017, had its first trailer revealed in December 2016. Additionally, Spider-Man: Far From Home, which hit theaters in July 2019, saw its trailer released in January of that same year.
As for Spider-Man 4, it is already February, and there is still no projected release date for the trailer, setting a negative record for the franchise. New rumors suggest the preview won’t arrive until March.
