Avengers: Doomsday – Epic Magneto Destruction Scene Leaks

Avengers: Doomsday promises to give major prominence to the X-Men and the cast of Fox’s original trilogy. And that teaser trailer already made it quite clear that we will see a redemption arc for James Marsden’s Cyclops.

It will also give us another chance to enjoy Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen as the legendary mutants. But don’t be fooled by the dramatic tone of the trailer.

After all, it seems that Doomsday will feature a HUGE scene of destruction caused by Magneto! And the person who leaked this information was none other than Ian McKellen himself.

Avengers: Doomsday will feature Magneto destroying everything

In an excellent interview, the actor ended up revealing details about a specific scene involving the mutant in Doomsday. The quote was as follows:

“I actually destroyed New Jersey the other day. Oh, maybe I shouldn’t have said that.”

This raises an interesting question about the film’s plot. After all, for Magneto to DESTROY — or carry out any kind of attack on — New York, there would need to be a very strong motivation behind it.

Will we see Magneto attacking Earth-616? Or does this connect to the rumor that the movie will begin with the X-Men attacking Tobey Maguire’s Earth?

Since the Incursions will cause clashes between different realities, with heroes having to fight for their own universe, the actor’s statement seems to fit perfectly with the rumors.

Still, it’s too early to draw such definitive conclusions. But one thing is certain: Erik will use his powers at maximum level! And we can’t wait to see that scene.
